Rebuilding dannyshay.com: from Sanity to a stack I own
The old site died of a free-tier quota. Here's the architecture that replaced it — Next.js, Neon Postgres, Vercel Blob, a custom CMS, and a migration pipeline with reconciliation gates.

First 1/2 Marathon (race)
Today I got to run in the Berry 1/2 marathon and am very pleased with an official time of 1:51:46 despite injury and illness the last few months.

Welcome Soraya!
We want to welcome our sweet baby girl, Soraya Elizabeth Shariff-Shay, into the world! She came on May 14th, 2021 and weighed just over 6lbs.
